Civic Tech Toronto
Community Member / Volunteer
Civic Tech Toronto is a community-driven volunteer group dedicated to solving civic challenges with technology. By connecting developers, designers, policy experts, and residents, the group collaborates on open-source digital tools that enhance public services and promote government transparency.
The best way to describe Dolphin Tank is a kinder, gentler version of the TV show Shark Tank. Community members would be allowed to pitch potential ideas that become community hackathon projects.

This motion graphic introduction (bumper) was created to be played in front of future meetup presentations. The intention was to insert this in front of the archived recorded presentations that Civic Tech TO has in their library.

Covid Model Animation
Created by Civic Tech TO members Jim Rootham & John Spragge, this interactive visualization simulates a small town dealing with Covid. Inspired by an article in The Atlantic by Zeynep Tufekci, the web page simulates the spread of COVID over 100 days.
I came aboard later on this project, offering suggestions and feedback to make the user interface and animation more presentable.
This project has since been paused in development. You can try the last build of the project here.
