Diving Into Watercolours

I've been getting into the groove of doing traditional painting again. I decided to get back to doing watercolour. I had a bunch of watercolour paper sitting under my bed in my old portfolio cases. So I figured I'll use it as an outlet to practice in my laundry room (yes I'm lacking workspace), and apply these skills for a future side project. I started brainstorming the idea having talking to some friends when I visited Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF). Here are a couple of flowers I painted based on photographs taken by my dad, who also planted these flowers. He loves to garden, so if I need more photo references for plants or flowers, I know where to go.
