The Greatest Of All Time : Muhammad Ali

I made this illustration when I heard about the passing of Muhammad Ali. He was a champion not just to sport of boxing, but to a champion of speaking about civil liberties and social justice. An activist that used his platform to the fullest to get the word out. To rally a nation and take notice. I wish more athletes today used their reach to inspire the youth of the future. With this composition I wanted to show Ali training by wrapping up his hands. Followed by a boxing fighting, leading to the knockout. I was also experimenting with some new brushes, and doing solid black areas on top.Ironically back in high school in Information Design class, I made a paper collage of Muhammad Ali. So this is not the first time I have worked on him before. RIP Champ.-JD
